Harbaugh to student reporter: 'Heck of a job'
  • (AP) — Jim Harbaugh paused during his introductory news conference at Michigan on Tuesday to offer a few kind words to a reporter from the campus newspaper who showed up at the airport when the new coach arrived the previous night.

    Harbaugh asked the reporter — Alejandro Zuniga of The Michigan Daily — to stand up and be recognized after talking with the coach and shooting a widely used photo. "That's a go-getter," the coach said.

    Harbaugh arrived at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport on Monday night, and reporters from the Daily followed him from there to a hotel.

    "Heck of a job," Harbaugh said Tuesday.
